Grab a Handle

Life is precious, priceless as we may say and anywhere or everywhere we go whether at home or at work we are taught to watch for our safety, the “Safety First” policy comes in as the foremost rule. In any industry safety comes as the primary concern. That is exactly the reason why industries seek and secure whatever most durable and most reliable hardware materials there is in the industrial market.

Industrial handles are hardware components designed and customized for industrial machinery. These are hardware that are grasped by hand and manipulated to perform a specific service. Industrial handles and industrial pulls are usually made from metal, plastic, or rubber. As said these hardware components are designed and customized to perform a service and promotes safety and security.

Industrial handles and industrial pulls are available with a variety of features. Here are few of them.

  1. Adjustable handles or clamping handles pull up to disengage and include a stud that remains stationary, allowing the handle to be moved to the desired position.
  2. Crank handles, are used as operating or positioning elements, feature a handle at the end of a sturdy crank arm.
  3. Extruded pulls (pull plates, ledge handles) are surface mounted devices with an extruded pull surface.
  4. Chest handles are also surface mounted; however, some flush mounted devices are available.
  5. Flush pulls (cove handles, recessed handles) provide a recessed “cove” for gripping the handle.
  6. Lever handles are often spring-loaded so that they return to their original position after use.
  7. Pullout carrying handles are used for instruments and cases.
  8. Control levers are designed for electric and electronic equipment.
  9. Tapered handles are suitable for machine shift levers while ratchet handles allow for the fast, safe, and easy adjustment of machinery.
  10. T-handles or tees are shaped like the letter “T”. Two-point handles feature a U-shaped design.

Think safety, grab a handle, grab a life.
