Weight Losing

Men like women are now very much concern with weight.  Earlier today the ladies in our office were talking about enrolling themselves to the fitness program that our company offers. That was because our company has contact a fitness gym wherein we can avail of our desired program at a discounted price and also made contract with a company that promotes wellness. A lot of men and women engaged themselves to it. While walking out the company premise we saw one of the team leads; he’s really big perhaps about 290lbs to 315lbs. We wonder if he’d made an effort in losing weight.

Currently, one of the local TV station have held an audition for Big Brother “The Big Loser” where in individuals 300lbs and up would qualify and get to go through a rigid weight loss program, the one who survives and loss most weight wins. I wonder if the show would get their contestants to take dietary pills such as Nuphedragen. Nuphedragen is a dietary enhancement geared towards men and women wishing to drop excess body weight. Weight losing pills such as Nuphedragen proved to be a very efficient way in assisting people in their desire to get rid of unwanted fats.

Orchid Growing

Orchids fascinate people. Their extraordinary variety of sizes, shapes, hues, habitats, and fragrances add color to life. Their lovely, exotic flowers brighten the day.

Growing orchids is quite a rage today. Orchid is one of the most popular potted plants marketed behind poinsettias.

How do you care for your orchids? Though orchids have been labeled as delicate and sensitive, they can be successfully grown. I share these important reminders:

Overwatering. When orchids are overwatered, they might die for lack of air. Water naturally displaces air, which is needed for healthy root growth, in the potting soil.

Under watering.  Lack of water leads to root damage due to dehydration. Orchid-potting materials drain much more rapidly than materials commonly used for other plants. Be sure to moisten the orchid-potting materials before you use them-this will make them more water-retentive.

Poor water quality. Water having high salt content and treated with water softener can be damaging to orchids.

Too much light or heat. When excessive heat gets trapped inside a leaf, it literally “cooks” or destroys the leaf tissues. As a result, large black circular dead spots form. In extreme cases, the entire orchid collapses. Once this damage is done, nothing can be done about it. When the orchid is exposed in full sunlight, feel the leaf surface with your finger. If it is too hot to touch, move the orchid to where it receives less light.

Leaving orchid foliage wet overnight. This cause leaf spots and crown (growing point of the orchid) to rot. It is best to water the orchid in the morning or early afternoon, so there’s plenty of time for the leaves to dry.

Too much fertilizer. You know you’ve put to much fertilizer because the root tips either become black or black/brown. Too much fertilizer dehydrates orchid roots.

Improper use of pesticides. If pesticides are applied in too high a concentration or applied when the plant is dry or the air temperature is too high, severe damage to the orchid can result. Always read the label before applying the chemical.

Insect infestation. Catching insect problems in the early stages is important. If an orchids is covered with insects, it is best to throw this plant away for the of others in your collection.

Most orchids are epiphytic (they grow attached to trees with roots hanging loose) That is why potting media (like coconut husks or tree fern fiber) or special orchid potting mixes (available from orchid suppliers) are used so the orchids’ root area will have good air circulation,

Prenatal Vitamins

When I conceived my baby, my priority was to give most of my attention in keeping him healthy and protect him from any possible complication that may occur while he’s not born yet. I always keep in mind and follow the prescribed prenatal vitamins from my Gynecologist. Aside from taking and pursuing the advice from the Gynecologist, I attempt to search over the net and I found prenatalvitamins.org which provides efficient information about supplementary vitamins.            

Prenatal vitamins are supplementary that helps protect not only the baby inside the womb but also promotes good health and development of pregnant women. Taking prenatal vitamins really pays. My pregnancy was smooth sailing there was no complication, and my baby came out healthy.

Confident No More

Skin imperfections or disorders such as pimples and acne are caused by a lot of things. Some says stress, hormonal imbalance, and improper use of cosmetics contribute to the development of such flaws. On my previous entry I talk about one of my lady friend who has spent much for skin treatment. Well, her treatment did help her to recuperate her confidence since the cure worked.

I also remember my crush back in high school. He possesses good looks and was talented. A lot of ladies in school admired him and needless to say he was very confident. But that was before he developed adult acne. His acne was really worst that it took away his good looks. His once beautiful and healthy skin is gone. He seeks medication and went through several treatments for years. The medication may have helped somehow but not much. Now he no longer has acne but that acne have really left him ugly acne scars.

Skin Allergy

Mother’s are very concern about the skin health of the baby. As we know, the baby’s skin is very sensitive. Mothers should have extra care of it. We make sure that all their stuffs are sterilized and are separated from adults. Mother should also be careful in choosing baby soap, shampoo and lotion as it may also cause allergies and eczema in our baby’s skin.  Eczema is a common skin condition in babies, and recently has been getting more widespread, now affecting as many as 1 in 3 babies in some part of the world.

When my baby boy turned five months, I notice that he has got a dry skin in the right side of his face. We don’t know what that was but that it looks like ringworm. My husband and I decide to bring him to the doctor for his skin check-up.  He told us that it was just a minor skin allergy caused by his bath soap. The doctor’s prescribe a topical steroid cream for his skin allergies.

Fashionable Footwear

I am not the type of woman who’s really into the fad.  However, as a woman I of course admire people who love to dress up. I would like to appear a bit flashy sometimes. Every time I go malls I never fail to see ladies in boots and those boots never fail to amaze me. I told myself that one day I will get one that would certainly look great in me. My husband love to see me dressed up and dressing up really pays. A lot of branded fashionable boots like Polo boots are on the line ready for pick up whenever money is ready. I have browsed into a footwear catalog online and certainly I can’t wait to get one.

Burn Those Fats

After giving birth I was greatly upset about how I gain weight. Will I ever be slim again? Until when will I stay fat?  I then started looking for diet pills and fat burners. I ask friends about the diet pills that they uses and asked them how it worked for them.  I was breastfeeding my baby that time so my husband suggested that I will exercise instead and until our baby turn 1 year and 5 months by then the baby would be bottle feed. We also went to the doctor to get his opinion about fat burners.   Just like my husband, the doctor suggested that I may take diet pills or fat burners when I am no longer breastfeeding.  He also warned me to make sure that I get a safe fat burner.

According to surveys, about 90% of fat burner does not work. It is important that we figure out which fat burner works and which does not.   Staying in shape is important. The safest way of doing that is to exercise as often as possible. However, if you really would like to fasten the development fat burners are great help.  Though some of them are tricks, there are also fat burners that really work all you have to do is just figure them out. For better guidance it is recommended that you seek expert’s advice.

Health is one priority that we take into consideration at home or anywhere. Illness and accident can happen anytime any day. My husband and I are very much into outdoors. We go mountain climbing and engage ourselves into some other physical challenges. For people on the go like us medicine kit is a must to aid our peers who get into minor misfortune.  

Readiness to give remedy to minor ailments and accident is a mindset that we all need to have to be able to act abruptly whenever circumstance prevails. However, readiness alone would not be a great help if not paired with the right materials. It is important that at home or office we are equipped with the basic medical needs. To add it would be so nice we own a beautiful Robern Medicine cabinet where we can safely store our first aid kits and other medical supplies.
