Sometimes we think that life should be easier. After all, it looks easy for others. Comparing ourselves or our circumstances can be dangerous business, especially since we compare with a purpose in mind – either to make ourselves look better or worse than those around us. Ralph is better looking. Sheila has permissive parents. Pat makes friends quickly. Mark seems so sure of himself.

The seed of jealousy is planted. Let the others have their good points; you too have yours. You may not be able to visualize them right now, but some day when you are feeling up, make a list of your good qualities and the positive factors in your life – and save it for the next blue day.

When the “if onlys” hit, take action before they have time to bury themselves deep into your psyche. Do something. Get busy. Physical activity, work or exercise, always helps. Think until you come up with one thing (or quality, or condition) you’re glad you have. Then do something for someone else: phone a friend you know is down, help with something around the house, smile at a stranger.

One of my friends told me once. “Life is too important to be easy”

You can’t maintain a constant of happiness – nobody can. But the harder you work at gratitude and the sooner you dissolve the “if onlys,” the better you’ll feel. There’s no limit to how high you can soar in joy, once you’ve unclipped your wing.

In a world where tomorrow’s discovery makes yesterday’s breakthrough obsolete, parents cannot help wondering as they watch their children careening into the future.

If society maintains its present rate of change, what will their children’s world be like twenty years from now? As traditional values continue to break down, what rules will guide their children as they face challenges yet undreamed of? And as they stand on the threshold of an uncertain future, what should parents do to help them prepare?

Parents should accept as natural their concern about the future of their offspring. It is doubtless prompted by a fervent hope that today’s children develop into tomorrow’s happy and successful adults. But parents can do more than just wonder. They can teach their children a simple goal-setting process that shows them how to achieve success and how to reap the many bonuses that accompany success.

The ability to set and attain realistic goals has far-reaching implications. Because success is the ultimate confidence-builder, the child who establishes goals and works to achieve them reaps the invaluable benefit of greater self-esteem. Each successive achievement generates the momentum to set and attain newer and more challenging goals.

The process is gloriously self-reinforcing. Each success brings a wealth of positive reactions from others, and each compliment or pat on the back contributes to a child’s belief in himself. The end product is a child who grows more confident and secure with each new achievement. And a secure, confident child is far better equipped to deal with the occasional disappointments and losses that are an inevitable part of life.

Goal-setting can be taught to elementary school children and refined to meet their changing needs as they move on to high school. Considering a child’s developmental timetable, 8 years of age is an ideal time for parents to introduce the goal-setting process. The typical 8-year-old is beginning to grasp the concept of cause and effect, and will be capable of understanding that certain desired actions may lead to certain desired ends. In addition to being intellectually ready, the 8-year-old’s differentiation between fantasy and reality has become more firmly established. This enables the child to choose goals that are more realistic and attainable than those a younger child might select.

Take a look at these benefits you will get from eating a good breakfast and see whether it can contribute to your goal of a happy, healthy family.

A breakfast furnishes a good supply of fuel body-building materials, and vitamins and minerals to satisfy your body’s needs.

A good breakfast helps us to be alert, efficient, and resistant to fatigue.

A good breakfast stabilizes the blood sugar level, so there is less desire to over eat later in the day.

A good breakfast increases the sense of well-being.

A good breakfast decreases the desire to eat junk foods between meals.

A good breakfast makes you work better, concentrate better, and study better.

A good break fast helps you control your weight.

A good breakfast helps you develop a better disposition.

A good breakfast may mean waking up early, maybe 30 minutes earlier than the usual waking up time. It may also mean turning of the television no matter how inviting the late show is. It may mean planning breakfast with your cook. But don’t you think it is all worth it?

Time passes so quickly, my little boy is now one year and 8 months. I know that my little boy is a smart kid. He barely speaks few words yet his comprehension is quite remarkable. One thing that he loves to do is to stare at pictures especially that of cartoon character like his favorite Dora the Explorer. The funny thing was that we previously had bought him several books from a store that sell used books but those books are no longer useful now. Why? Well, babies are babies; they don’t know what they are doing, so our little boy has turned the pages apart when he was younger. One day while observing my little boy it came into my mind that I need him to buy him few more books, perhaps coloring book this time so we can teach him how to associate colors to things around him.

Today we went to the mall for some groceries. We also met my husband’s long college friend in the third floor and on our way we again passed by the used books store. We drop by for a while and fortunately found a number of coloring books and story books. They were all so cheap so we get them to the counter and pay for them. My little boy is happy with his new books. However this time I need to keep an eye on him. Why? Well, babies are babies; I am really scared he might eat the crayons.

I am not a party person; in fact I haven’t been into a bar and into a disco all my life. However, I am an exact opposite of my husband. Nightlife, party, disco and such was my husband’s life when he was still studying. This is perhaps the reason why I at all times get so excited every time my husband’s company holds a big party. I’d like to at least experience a little of what my husband had experienced.

Two year ago, I attended my husband company Christmas party. The theme was masquerade so we dressed up elegantly like we were different person. The party was great, everybody looked beautifully unique. Men look good and most of the women were wearing sexy costumes. That night I came home with real fulfillment having had a taste of what my husband called “Life.”

Last summer party the theme was “Fire & Water.” The party was so successful everyone wore their sexy hot apparel in the beach. It was a whole day party and in the evening the sexy ladies on their sexy costumes danced with the fire dancers that added real spice to the event.

Reminiscing childhood days make me shed a tear not because we were poor but because of how life was simple. We do not have much when we were kids in fact my parent could not afford a kiddy bicycle for us. So when we were kids with envy we only watch our peers enjoying their bikes and wish that we have our own. Luckily for my husband his family was quite well off when they were kids so his parents were able to buy each of them a bicycle. I told myself that when I am going to be a parent I will make sure that my kids will not experience the sad things that I’ve been through when I am a kid but rather experience the things that I was not able to experience. Well I guess that but normal for all. We would always desire for the best for our dear ones.

A lot of things have changed from bicycle to 3 wheel carts, pedal cars, and now there’s battery powered kiddy vehicle which is commonly known as power wheels. Power wheels are battery powered electric ride on vehicles designed for kids. They come in different models. Seeing them is like viewing miniature models of different tricycle and cars. There’s Jeeps, Honda Minimoto, Peg Perego Gaucho Super Power S Series, Orange County Choppers, Power Wheels Ninja, Power Wheels MX3, Jeep Wrangler, Formula Cars, Mercedes, Porsche, Corvette, Battery Powered Hummer, Ford Mustang, Chevy and more. Every time we stroll in the malls and get to pass by these toys we never fail to get our soon 2 year old little boy into it for him to have a feel of the ride, and wish that he’ll grow very soon because we just can’t wait seeing him driving his toy car.

Four year in college is not enough to know everything under the sun. Well, we don’t really have to know everything but at least we know much and become much knowledgeable on our fields of interest. Most likely after graduation in college, the first thing that comes into our mind is to find a better job for the future. At times the wheel of fate gets us to land into a job which is not related to our profession, and if we’re lucky enough we get the job we like. So, to foster learning on that fields we exert effort to research or update our selves with new learning. Yes, we may learn from that but we cannot be efficient since learning would not be so strategic. Since working people no longer have enough time to come to schools to cultivate further knowledge or get another degree, distant studies or online schools are offered.

Online school is actually most favored by working people and with that we can enroll to accredited schools oversees. Online school helps thousands of people to continue with there studies in spite of the distance and of hectic schedules. Distant studies basically, help in fulfilling individuals’ desired degree and keep them in tracked with the career they have chosen.

It was Monday and the first day of school. I send my 10 year old niece to school. I saw the glow on all students’ faces, they were just so excited to meet their friends and their minds are focused for the study. As soon as the children get into their respective classrooms, we the parents were toured around the school, so we were able to see all their facilities. The facilities were not bad. We were not disappointed though but we take note of the things that would like to change or improve since the school principal asks for it. Well, yes inside us we feel like something has to be improved.

So during the Parents and Teachers meeting we tackle the things to be improved and among them are to put additional school furniture such as study carrels, and book cases in the library for the student to be able to focus on their reading and studies. Also we suggested that the Science laboratory furniture be replaced with much durable furniture. The parents and teachers worked hand in hand raised funds and in two months the library and Science laboratory looked a lot better with the new furniture.

Suppose that, given your present work schedule, you feel you don’t have time for even the small amount of exercise described in my previous articles. There are other ways you can get exercise. For example, get out of bed a little earlier and use those few minutes in a brisk walk to the bus stop beyond the one you usually use. In the evening, get off the bus two or three stops earlier and walk home.

If you live or work in an elevator building, get off two or three floors below your destination and walk the rest of the way. Stair climbing is terrific exercise. (Remember the London bus conductors.)

Many practical everyday tasks also offer exercise opportunities. Car dirty? Wash and polish it yourself.

Taking a shower in the morning can be a good body builder. While drying, use your towel as a conditioning aid. Place it around the nape of your neck and pull it forward, simultaneously pushing your neck against it hard. Hold for two seconds. Repeat the process with the towel in the small of the back, pushing hard against it by tightening the muscles of your abdomen and buttocks to flatten your back. Hold for two seconds.

And stretch whenever you can. Push your chair away from the desk between assignments and lower and raise your feet, legs fully extended.

Another chair exercise: Grip the arms of the chair firmly, then relax all over, limp as a rag. It’s a fine aid to circulation, too.

Movement is life. Indolence is stagnation, which leads to ill health and early death. Take your choice.

My husband is working on a call center industry outside of the United States and it is never easy; he have to work on North American Time which is as early as 5:00AM to 9:00PM Pacific Time, which means 8:00PM to 12PM our time. Because he works on night shift 5 days a week, we are in search for a fitness program that we can basically do at home, and food supplement that contains the most essential nutrients. He doesn’t take multivitamin pills as it has a very negative effect on him. We have tried several food supplements in form of juices and honestly we do not feel much of its effect on us. Shakeology came to me as a word of a mouth but at first did not pay much attention to it because I don’t think that the price was reasonable.

After some time I consider checking its contents and was amazed. Shakeology contain over 70 healthy ingredients and is made up of essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. It is also packed with 20 different anti-oxidants and phytonutrients which help eradicate toxins and discard stored fats. Being an Asian myself and of oriental or Chinese origin I am quite familiar with Chinese herbs that is incorporated in Shakeology and along with the rest of the ingredient added in Shakeology, I can definitely say that only the rich can afford. So having to spend $119.95 for a month supply is not bad at all considering you are guaranteed with healthy living on a pack of an ultimate meal replacement shake everyday. Shakeology would be able to provide a more noticeable result if paired with proper physical exercise.

Speaking of exercise, we are also in search of a home fitness program for beginners. I’ve heard of Brazil Butt lift and it impresses me knowing that their Triangle Training method works all three major muscles of the buttocks from multiple angles to reduce your hips and saddlebag area, slim your thighs, and lift your butt without bulking up your thighs. I’ve learned through reviews that these Home fitness programs are great fitness routines add-ons for Gym Rats or athletes. I’ve also heard of Slim in 6, the product claims that in six weeks you’ll see significant results. Well, that sounds ambitious but their program really work for most who have tried. Slim in 6 is in actual fact a fitness course that is marketed chiefly toward women. Unlike some other fitness regimens, Slim in 6 places a spotlight on trimming the thighs, abs and buttocks. The program also provides a step-by-step nutrition guide, which would tell you exactly what you should be eating and how much. These great workouts for beginners offer immense importance to people that can’t meet the expense of a Gym membership or merely don’t like to hit the Gym. These fitness programs together with Shakeology are expected to provide great result. It’s a combination that works like no other.
