Reminiscing childhood days make me shed a tear not because we were poor but because of how life was simple. We do not have much when we were kids in fact my parent could not afford a kiddy bicycle for us. So when we were kids with envy we only watch our peers enjoying their bikes and wish that we have our own. Luckily for my husband his family was quite well off when they were kids so his parents were able to buy each of them a bicycle. I told myself that when I am going to be a parent I will make sure that my kids will not experience the sad things that I’ve been through when I am a kid but rather experience the things that I was not able to experience. Well I guess that but normal for all. We would always desire for the best for our dear ones.

A lot of things have changed from bicycle to 3 wheel carts, pedal cars, and now there’s battery powered kiddy vehicle which is commonly known as power wheels. Power wheels are battery powered electric ride on vehicles designed for kids. They come in different models. Seeing them is like viewing miniature models of different tricycle and cars. There’s Jeeps, Honda Minimoto, Peg Perego Gaucho Super Power S Series, Orange County Choppers, Power Wheels Ninja, Power Wheels MX3, Jeep Wrangler, Formula Cars, Mercedes, Porsche, Corvette, Battery Powered Hummer, Ford Mustang, Chevy and more. Every time we stroll in the malls and get to pass by these toys we never fail to get our soon 2 year old little boy into it for him to have a feel of the ride, and wish that he’ll grow very soon because we just can’t wait seeing him driving his toy car.

A friend of mine waited for years to have a baby. Countless visits to different doctors were made to obtain medications just to be sure that they will have one, until finally their dream come true and she is soon to deliver her first baby. It’s a baby boy and everybody is excited, a baby shower plan is pulled ahead to celebrate this precious one and their becoming a family.

We then help her prepare the baby’s room. For the baby shower, we started with a list of important people to invite. We also contact some of our closest friends who live quite distant to join and celebrate the party. We sent them personalized invitation cards and we were glad that they confirm to come. This party is special and is going to be full of excitement.

As one of her closest friend and soon the baby’s godmother I want her to feel that I care and I am happy for her and her first precious baby. So way ahead I thought of wonderful surprises that I could possibly come up to. I decide to shop at an online baby store. It has to be unique, so I have to come up with personalized baby gifts. Shopping online is great; I came across with best baby shower gifts and I now know what to give for her little boy.

Purchasing the item online is very comfortable for me. There is so much time to shop and a lot of variety of gift item to choose from, all for the baby and my friend. I also check for the online store’s reliability to be sure that the item will arrive at the specific time. So much for that it also saves a lot of money and time.

When I conceived my baby, my priority was to give most of my attention in keeping him healthy and protect him from any possible complication that may occur while he’s not born yet. I always keep in mind and follow the prescribed prenatal vitamins from my Gynecologist. Aside from taking and pursuing the advice from the Gynecologist, I attempt to search over the net and I found prenatalvitamins.org which provides efficient information about supplementary vitamins.

Prenatal vitamins are supplementary that helps protect not only the baby inside the womb but also promotes good health and development of pregnant women. Taking prenatal vitamins really pays. My pregnancy was smooth sailing there was no complication, and my baby came out healthy.

Mother’s are very concern about the skin health of the baby. As we know, the baby’s skin is very sensitive. Mothers should have extra care of it. We make sure that all their stuffs are sterilized and are separated from adults. Mother should also be careful in choosing baby soap, shampoo and lotion as it may also cause allergies and eczema in our baby’s skin. Eczema is a common skin condition in babies, and recently has been getting more widespread, now affecting as many as 1 in 3 babies in some part of the world.

When my baby boy turned five months, I notice that he has got a dry skin in the right side of his face. We don’t know what that was but that it looks like ringworm. My husband and I decide to bring him to the doctor for his skin check-up. He told us that it was just a minor skin allergy caused by his bath soap. The doctor’s prescribe a topical steroid cream for his skin allergies.

Parents are thrilled every time a new baby arrives at home. Everything is prepared from the clothes of the new born baby to hanging toys and baby room. Speaking of needs, baby room is one of the most important places that parents should not forget to prepare. Among the many essential materials inside a baby’s room is the crib and crib bedding. Crib and crib bidding is important for baby’s comfort; it should be smooth and fresh for the baby to stay stress-free.

As the baby grow, it’s good for the baby to have his own bed where he can freely move; crawl and roll. When choosing baby bedding, mothers may also consider the color and cloth quality. Colors should be flashy since babies easily get attracted to flashy colors.

When our children reach seven years old, they would prefer to practice their own privacy. Parents should be aware in sorting things that kids need in their room. Kids should be provided their own bed. When parents buy kids bedding to cover their beds, they should also look at the design. It should be the kind of bedding that does not easily slip to provide safety. The cloth should be comfy and the color should be soothing to the eyes.

On the tenth month infants or babies starts to understand some simple word and phrases, so it is very important that we, mothers should keep on talking to our babies. Mother should have patterns in teaching babies to imitate words like repeating words constantly. While baby talk is so cute to listen to, we should also keep in mind that this is the point where our babies learn the right way to talk. So if possible talk and pronounce words correctly so for our babies to learn things the right way. The pronunciation should be correct and conversation can be encouraging your baby to develop his language skills. At this age baby can stand without a support by holding the hard object, possibility letting go and stand without the support. Baby can take step when held in a walking position.

My little baby boy is now on his tenth month. Day by day he slows his improvements especially with his communication skills. He can stand alone, every now and then he masters his balance. Every time he get near to a stable support, he holds, stand and let go, then stand for a minute or two. He also focuses on watching his favorite educational video. We let him watch Barney. He loves to crab on books and things that attract him. He also imitates actions. My baby surprises me every now and then with his development and I can’t wait what he has for me when he gets 11 months.

My baby has just turn nine months and I am glad to say that my baby’s development is in accord with what the expert were saying. At this age babies stands and moves around by his own with the support of stable holds that he grabs on and can bend his knees. My little son learn to take few steps. He slowly sets down from standing. Every time I cuddle him and stands in front of our main door he tries to hold the door nub and in return I bring him near so he can touch and grab the door nub. We also had observed that he cries every time I repel something from his hand especially fruits or foods that he enjoys. If he wants something and seems that nobody notices him, he also cries.

One thing really amazes me, every time I wash our clothes in the washing machine he turns uneasy not because he is scared with the buzzing sound but simply because he wanted to get near the tub to watch the bubbles twirling. He cries if we put him on his crib. He gets so delighted when we allowed him to touch the bubbles. He enjoys playing with them and we just love watching him wearing those big smiles.

One Sunday, while we were on our Sunday morning exercise at a playground near in our house, a plant truly catches my attention. It looks like an artificial ornamental plant. Not contented by just starring from afar I came closer to the plant and I try to touch it. To my surprise the plant was real. I just can’t believe my eye coz it really looked artificial when I looking from the distance and even when you are near. I really enjoyed seeing that plant. It’s one of a kind. I admit that I’ve seen a lot of rare plants and flower in mountain when I was still active with mountaineering they were nice and beautiful. This one too. I appreciate the beauty of every flower at the mountain, and this plant that I’ve seen at the playground of the school, really makes difference. It has a unique color and beauty that I really attract my sight. In fact, I don’t know what kind of plant it was and I don’t even know what it is called.

Every thing in nature will always be good in the sight of every human especially in children. Mothers should expose your little one in the nature, even in their young age. We have to tell them of the creation that were made by our Heavenly Creator.

It is of high importance that we train our child in their little ways, especially in scheduling their waste disposal activities like peeing. They have to learn early in their age. To make them discipline in a proper way of disposing body waste. Mothers must have a good feel in sensing their child’s needs of waste disposal especially because at their age they can’t be vocal about their needs. Mothers should be attentive to their little one at this time, so we can bring them to the right place to yield to their needs.

My baby boy is just eight months old and as early as this age we are teaching him to dispose his waste only on his potty. At first I have had a hard time because I have to observe him to figure out the time he usually poo. But I notice that he poo every after meal or after he woke up from sleep. So, what I did was when he makes a sound and gesture like on the verge of “know what I mean” …. When he holds his breath and his face turn red, I without delay pull out his diaper and bring him into the potty. Shortly we were able to schedule his waste disposal.
