Briggs Replacement Parts

My family lives and grows in a coastal area. Fishing has been the source of living of most people living around us. Though Dad worked as a cook in the hospital, going to the sea does not exempt him. My brother and Dad enjoy the sea together making fishing as their recreation. That is their main bonding activity. To be able to go a little distant from the shore dad built a little motorboat with a 5HP Briggs & Stratton engine.

The get to ride the boat several times going to different island and all I can say is that the engine was real powerful. Machines get into trouble sometimes no matter how you take care of them. There were several instances where my brother and dad can’t go fishing because the machine broke and that they need to replace some Briggs parts such as head gasket and O-ring. Finding replacement part in our area is not hard however there are instances wherein the replacement store runs out of stocks so they still have to order it online from suppliers. Well ordering it online is not a problem since the supplier ship 95% of all parts on the same business day and it if assistance is really needed their live chat is available from 8AM to 12 Midnight 7 days a week.

Perfectly Elegant

Reminiscing the past makes me smile. I am arranging things for our fourth wedding anniversary which is going to be this 7th of January. That was a lovely day. It was raining all week and yet God granted our prayers that the sun will show on our wedding day. The rain ceased and the sky was clear with the sun shining down that was at 8 AM an hour before the wedding. The rain poured down real hard in the afternoon after the celebration. It was a real blessed day. We only had short time to prepare for our wedding. Everything seemed to be instant for us from the wedding dress down to giveaway wedding souvenirs and invitation holders.

My husband’s dress suit was a gift from his close friend, given to him a week before he left South Korea. His dress suit was gifted to him along with neck ties, bow ties and pens. They really look perfectly elegant on my man. My bridal gown was prepared by my sister-in-law together with the gown were set of cloths for the bridal entourage and invitation holders. We all look perfect on our wedding day as the day was. It was a wonderful day for us and very soon we will remember and celebrate that memorable day.

Remote Controlled Present

Christmas is for kids. It’s the season of the year where kids would dream for some gifts and toys. We do not have much when we were kids. My father’s salary is just enough for our foods. They could not afford to buy us toys, not even on Christmas. Our grandparents always save something for us and every time we visit them they give us little presents; toys, clothes, or treat us somewhere. Being a girl I always go for toy dolls whereas my brothers always go for toy cars, military soldier figures, toy guns, toy airplanes and helicopters. When in the toys department in the malls my brothers would rush to the remote control toys but we always come home with just the regular toys. Remote control toys were expensive back then that only the rich can afford.

Nowadays, electronic toys are very much affordable except for those which are advanced and made with superior quality. We envy our nephews and nieces since they are able to enjoy toys that we never had before. Back then we only see remote controlled helicopter on TV which explodes in movies. We dream to fly those toys too but it’s not easy to find and if ever we will find one we know that it’s going to be so expensive. These days, an RC helicopter is everywhere in the malls. Our youngest brother at age 22 purchased one of those cheaply made RC helicopters and said that at least he is able to fly his dream.

Superior quality RC helicopters used top be so expensive, but thanks to the Christmas, these electronic toys can now be bought at a cheaper price. Model remote control helicopters can now be purchased online at a discounted price since they are on sale.  These miniature remote control toys really look awesome. There’s a wide variety available to choose from; Apache, Airwolf, Chinook, Hunter and more.  This model remote control helicopters are perfect gifts to kids and collectors. Surely their eyes will be wide open filled with happiness receiving this wonderful Christmas gift.

Mesothelioma Awareness

Promoting good health is an advocacy that my husband’s company upholds. Last October 2010 their medical team conduct seminar pertaining Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer. They held the Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. They also conduct medical missions on different places. On several seminars and medical missions some people with different type of cancer also come to them to get prescriptions as well as free medicine. A person with a rare type of cancer came to them for help. The person is a victim of a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos it’s called Mesothelioma. This condition usually affect industrial workers especially those who are exposed to asbestos. The condition is not limited to the person exposed to asbestos as this condition also jeopardizes the health of their family members. Mesothelioma is rare here in the Philippines but quite common in US as close to 3,000 individual is diagnosed with this deadly cancer each year.

Hopefully, my husband’s company will also conduct a mesothelioma awareness program to seek for those individual who are suffering from this deadly disease and for the victims to be able to file complaints and claims to the companies which cause them the misfortune.

Intimacy in Marriage

Sexual confidence in marriage is significant to a healthy, happy relationship involving husband and wife. Along with the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual facets, God designed husband and wife to take pleasure in the practice of sexual intimacy in marriage: intimacy, as we’ve just defined it, is the definitive human experience!

Love, marriage, and sex are the three building blocks making sexual intimacy promising. Love—contrary to the vast majority of songs on the radio about this topic—is about meeting the needs of others, and is not about self-gratification. Obviously, you don’t need marriage to have sex; but you surely do need marriage to experience the authentic, sex God proposed!Do you have sexual disappointment in your marriage? Truth be told, most people would have to say, “Yes!” There are various factors for sexual disappointments and one of that may be caused by our partners deteriorating performance.

Due to stress our husbands may need some enhancing food supplement. Visit http://www.maleenhancementproduct.org for more information about male enhancement supplements.

Nurture your Child

What your child will be tomorrow depends on how he is nurtured and cherished today. The quality of his training and the pattern of values inculcated in him will reveal the kind of person he will be.

Will he be a cheerful and pleasant person? Will he be an asset or a liability in society? These are significant questions parents should consider in the training and development of their children.

I have heard some parents say: “Never mind he is still a child”. When some responsible adults meaningfully urge that a child be reprimanded for some mischief, the child’s doting mother would beg: “Be patient with him. He is still a baby”.

This is more often than not tragic because the child is growing without the parents realizing that he is developing into manhood. And because he has been treated like a child all along, even in his maturing years, he behaves like a child. This is one reason we have a lot of childish people around us.

Preparing the child for school is one of the important matters parents should be carefully aware of, for it is in school where most of his waking hours will be spent. They should never consider burdensome the time that they need to spend with the child to teach him values that will help him develop love, patience and obedience. Their home training should teach lessons that will inspire cheerful disposition and encourage resourcefulness and independence. These positive values are the most important wealth parents can bequeath to their children.

There are some parents who leave the home training of their child to the so-called tutor. They have no time for the child, and if they have, the moments that they spend with him usually and in trouble – the mother scolding and berating the child for being very slow in learning and the child feeling guilty and losing confidence in himself.

Parents should direct their child training efforts to the development of self-respect in the child, particularly in his early childhood. How the child feels about himself influences not only his choice but also his decisions. How he will grope in or cope with the world around him will be reflected in his concept of himself. The standard and ideals that parents awaken in their children by way of their example determine, to a large extent, not only their future lifestyle but also how they will face the challenges that come their way.

As parents, we should take stock of our ways of dealing with our growing children. We should reexamine the direction to which we are leading them. What kind of future are we preparing them for? What preparation are we giving them for their future?

Season of Giving

The yuletide season is perhaps the happiest season in this predominantly Christian country. In contrast to the oppressive heat of the sweltering summer, this time the air is crisp and balmy. The weather is generally refreshing and invigorating. It is a pleasant experience to stroll down a country lane at night and view the harvest moon sometimes framed between coconut fronds as it sails serenely through a cloudless tropical sky.

Christmas lanterns of various shapes and colors hang in the windows of some homes. Their soft glow seems to say that the light of peace and love and goodwill is also shining in the hearts of the people inside.

School is out for the long holidays, and the happy voices of children at play are heard everywhere.  Some parents take their children to the malls and grab them some toys, fruit cake and Christmas crackers in spite of the tight money situation these days; they still come home with packages under their arms. These kids will perhaps wear new clothes and sports new shoes when they go to church or when they visit their godfather and godmother come Christmas day.

Those who are religiously inclined, attend the nine morning masses. On Christmas night the families get together, eat together and enjoy tea while waiting for the midnight and watch fireworks.

We see the symbols of Christmas everywhere – the tinsel of gold and glitter of silver, the jingle bells and happy carols, the well-decorated Christmas trees with a star at the top, the red-nosed reindeer and jolly old Santa, the queso de bola and the other noche Buena goodies, the gift packages tied with ribbons of red and green, and so on. What, really, does Christmas mean to us? Christmas is the season of love, season of giving and certainly the season to give thanks to the earth-born child of our Heavenly Father.

Teaching Children Success

In a world where tomorrow’s discovery makes yesterday’s breakthrough obsolete, parents cannot help wondering as they watch their children careening into the future.

If society maintains its present rate of change, what will their children’s world be like twenty years from now? As traditional values continue to break down, what rules will guide their children as they face challenges yet undreamed of? And as they stand on the threshold of an uncertain future, what should parents do to help them prepare?

Parents should accept as natural their concern about the future of their offspring. It is doubtless prompted by a fervent hope that today’s children develop into tomorrow’s happy and successful adults. But parents can do more than just wonder. They can teach their children a simple goal-setting process that shows them how to achieve success and how to reap the many bonuses that accompany success.

The ability to set and attain realistic goals has far-reaching implications. Because success is the ultimate confidence-builder, the child who establishes goals and works to achieve them reaps the invaluable benefit of greater self-esteem. Each successive achievement generates the momentum to set and attain newer and more challenging goals.

The process is gloriously self-reinforcing. Each success brings a wealth of positive reactions from others, and each compliment or pat on the back contributes to a child’s belief in himself. The end product is a child who grows more confident and secure with each new achievement. And a secure, confident child is far better equipped to deal with the occasional disappointments and losses that are an inevitable part of life.

Goal-setting can be taught to elementary school children and refined to meet their changing needs as they move on to high school. Considering a child’s developmental timetable, 8 years of age is an ideal time for parents to introduce the goal-setting process. The typical 8-year-old is beginning to grasp the concept of cause and effect, and will be capable of understanding that certain desired actions may lead to certain desired ends. In addition to being intellectually ready, the 8-year-old’s differentiation between fantasy and reality has become more firmly established. This enables the child to choose goals that are more realistic and attainable than those a younger child might select.

Battery Powered Kiddy Vehicle

Reminiscing childhood days make me shed a tear not because we were poor but because of how life was simple. We do not have much when we were kids in fact my parent could not afford a kiddy bicycle for us. So when we were kids with envy we only watch our peers enjoying their bikes and wish that we have our own. Luckily for my husband his family was quite well off when they were kids so his parents were able to buy each of them a bicycle. I told myself that when I am going to be a parent I will make sure that my kids will not experience the sad things that I’ve been through when I am a kid but rather experience the things that I was not able to experience. Well I guess that but normal for all. We would always desire for the best for our dear ones.

A lot of things have changed from bicycle to 3 wheel carts, pedal cars, and now there’s battery powered kiddy vehicle which is commonly known as power wheels.  Power wheels are battery powered electric ride on vehicles designed for kids. They come in different models. Seeing them is like viewing miniature models of different tricycle and cars.  There’s Jeeps, Honda Minimoto, Peg Perego Gaucho Super Power S Series, Orange County Choppers, Power Wheels Ninja, Power Wheels MX3, Jeep Wrangler, Formula Cars, Mercedes, Porsche, Corvette, Battery Powered Hummer, Ford Mustang, Chevy and more.  Every time we stroll in the malls and get to pass by these toys we never fail to get our soon 2 year old little boy into it for him to have a feel of the ride, and wish that he’ll grow very soon because we just can’t wait seeing him driving his toy car.

Drug Dependency and Rehabilitation

My aunt really had a tough time with one of her sons. At first she was afraid to confront him though she really felt that something strange is going on. She started noticing her son’s attitude and behavior change unconstructively and was really convinced at that time that her son was experimenting with either alcohol or drugs. Scared that she might hurt her son if she’ll confront him, she failed to address the matter until she receive a call from the school that her son has been missing school and is failing in most of his class.

Her son has been dependent to drugs and worst before she knew it her precious one has turned alcoholic. Without her knowledge her son sneaks out at night for some alcohol. This was the time that they finally took an action of sending their son to the best drug rehabilitation centers to save him from the wrong lifestyle that he is becoming accustomed. He has got a long-term rehabilitation and was sent to an institution away from home and from his friends.

Every time I think of what my cousin went through when he was dealing with his drug and alcohol dependence I get sick to my stomach; he looked horrible and all sunken in and skinny. Good thing he has gotten into a Native American rehab and realized that his life before drug and alcohol dependence was a happy one and that drugs and alcohol has changed him differently. So far things turned out right for my cousin. He has been rehabilitated and has turned away from drugs and alcohol even before it took a toll on him. Drug and alcohol abuse is not an uncomplicated fix, but it isn’t a terminal disease that you have to live with perpetually. If you find the right drug and alcohol treatment center, a person’s life, choices and actions can be turned around. After all, drug dependence and alcoholism is just a choice.
