Five or six years ago, I was active in outdoor activities like mountaineering. Obtaining quality outdoor equipment was hard on my first year in mountaineering since financially I do not have enough. So I make use of some second hand outdoor equipment or sometimes borrow from some friends. I am a little choosy when it comes to outdoor equipment. I always make sure that all my equipment that I carry along with fits the activity and all lightweight.

Lightweight apparel and equipment should be preferred when you go backpacking or mountaineering. Just imagine the trouble you put yourself into when you climb or trek with heavy loads. Bring only the necessary and useful light materials so to avoid the difficulties when climbing. At times it’s hard to look for quality equipment like lightweight backpacking tents. But nothing to worry; with some help from friends you’d be able to easily find one that suits your needs. Online outdoor stores are also offering good deals for quality lightweight equipment and apparel.

Now that I have my own family we are planning to get bigger lightweight tents and other equipment that we could probably use on our weekend outdoor getaways.

My family lives and grows in a coastal area. Fishing has been the source of living of most people living around us. Though Dad worked as a cook in the hospital, going to the sea does not exempt him. My brother and Dad enjoy the sea together making fishing as their recreation. That is their main bonding activity. To be able to go a little distant from the shore dad built a little motorboat with a 5HP Briggs & Stratton engine.

The get to ride the boat several times going to different island and all I can say is that the engine was real powerful. Machines get into trouble sometimes no matter how you take care of them. There were several instances where my brother and dad can’t go fishing because the machine broke and that they need to replace some Briggs parts such as head gasket and O-ring. Finding replacement part in our area is not hard however there are instances wherein the replacement store runs out of stocks so they still have to order it online from suppliers. Well ordering it online is not a problem since the supplier ship 95% of all parts on the same business day and it if assistance is really needed their live chat is available from 8AM to 12 Midnight 7 days a week.

The smell of yuletide season is in the air, people are now starting to come up with their list of things to buy for the holiday, and for present. My sister-in-law has been weighing up whether to come home or not for the holidays. But even so, she’s starting to ask what we would like to receive this Christmas. Last Monday she started making her present list. I asked her to buy toys or clothes for my little Zach, Skin Lotions and perfumes for me, music CDs for my husband and his brother; Awesome God: cappella Worship Se – Praise & Harmony and Noel – Josh Groban. My sister-in-law said she has to look individually for these items and that one of these items might not be found. I refer her to buy.com since basically they have wide variety of goodies, from baby to videos. Its holiday season and they have holiday specials and free shipping offers, with which you can save up to 50%. She was impressed and so she checked the website right away. To her surprise she also found what shed been looking for a Logitech Wireless Desktop MK320 Keyboard & Mouse USB Wireless Keyboard – USB Wireless Mouse – Optical. Just so timely it’s the deal of the week. She was able to purchase it a cheaper price and it was delivered to her for free.

Shopping online is really great. You just have to make sure that you are buying it from a legitimate online shop where online buying is safe and secured.

Semester breaks and holidays are my favorite time back my university years. Why? When I and my husband were still active at mountain climbing we use to climb distant mountains together with our local mountaineering group on either semester breaks or other long holidays. Mountain climbing and camping is fun but never easy. When planning for a climb, a lot of things are to be considered; have to secure permit to climb, have to get ready with the supplies, and days before the actual climb one should clear the area. It would really be a great advantage if your group has a service truck to transport the team back and fort.

The truck has also got to be prepared for the clearing and the climb day. The worst part after the fun is not the muscle pains but the cleaning. Cleaning time would be double or triple because most likely mud and dirt get stuck on the floor of the truck trunk. It was a good thing that on our next few climb we put in trunk liners. It really saves our time as cleaning the trunk liners is a lot easier than cleaning and drying the truck and trunk floor. Well, hassles after the climb doesn’t really matter much. The most important thing is that you enjoy life and enjoy the outdoors.

Some of us are fanned of going out of town on weekends; find a hotel that is over looking beaches to unwind or to enjoy party with friends. Among the things that people would probably love to do is enjoying the sunrise or sunset. I heard my friends talking about Manhattan Beach, saying that it is real beautiful and naturally preserve. There you can breathe clean fresh air. When in Manhattan, you can get yourself accommodated in an elegant and stylish Manhattan Beach CA hotel. Their accommodation could probably ignite your desire to stay long and enjoy the facilities inside the hotel like wireless internet access, plush bathrobes and restaurant.

Every summer my family goes to the beaches. In most instances we stay overnight or spend weekend in the beach. For us nothing beats nature, so we hangout to places where nature is preserved. Since we love to swim, Manhattan Beach is one of the ideal beach resorts my family planned to spend on vacation.

Education begins with the infant in its mother’s arms. While the mother is molding and fashioning the character of her children, she is educating them. Parents send their children to school, and when they have done this, they think they have educated them. But education is a matter of greater breadth than many realize. It comprises the whole process by which the child is instructed from babyhood to childhood, from childhood to youth, and from youth to manhood. As soon as a child is capable of forming an idea, his education should begin. The work of education and training should commence with the babyhood of the child. For then the mind is the most impressible, and the lessons given are remembered.

It is a parent’s duty to speak right words. Day by day parents should learn in the school of Christ lessons from one that loves them. Before reason is fully developed, children may catch a right spirit from their parents.

In the family that we have though we are not perfect, as parent we will do our best to raise our child to be a better person. Though our little boy is still young, we started to teach him about God’s word. We bring him to church services. When we praise and worship God every morning and night, he is with us listening and since he is still in his age that he can’t stay in a long period of time, so we have to cuddle him until we’re done with our worship. We play religious songs to develop his mind even he can’t fully understand the word. While he is in my arms every time I am breastfeeding, I talk to him to be a good and boy obedient to his parents.

My baby is used to his surroundings and recognizes familiar faces. We use to go out every now and then away from home so that he would be exposed and get acquainted to unfamiliar things and people. We visit some friends; we go out sometimes in some unfamiliar places to interrupt his sense of security and routine.

He has shown a lot of development. A lot has changed. Last few days, I notice he is very irritable, I didn’t understand what he wants, that time I don’t know what I was suppose to do. My husband really got mad at me, because I only watch him crying. My husband took the baby to his arms and appeases the baby. Perhaps my baby just wants to feel the warmth of our embrace.

This few days as well I noticed that he like to crumple papers, watch television, and make more noise with his toys. He is more attracted in colorful thing. His sense of security has developed slowly, he knows who is with him and now seems to be selective of who he wants to carry and cuddle him. He easily responds to activities like taking pictures, he smiles every time we call his attention for photograph shots.

Babies at age of seven months start to distinguish the real form unreal. It is at this age that they appreciate the things around them like colors and size. They recognize sounds and movements and recognize where it came from. They get easily attracted especially to colorful things. With all that we may need to guide them so they would be aware of those things. Kids at this age are very curious so we better keep an eye on them to keep them away from harms.

The previous day we were at Ayala mall to get his last immunization shots for HIB as well as his monthly check-up and while we are busy at our window shopping, we noticed that our little boy was attracted at something and he kept on turning his head looking for that something that may have amused him. We found out that he is eyeing on a red mascot. He was focusing his sight on a big battery operated Santa Clause. He may have wondered if the moving thing is real or fancy. So my husbands immediately took him and bought him near the moving thing. As soon as they get closer, our little boy smiled and his father tried to make him interact with the machine. His eyes were glaring and he switches looks from Santa Clause to his father as if he is comparing what he is seeing trying to find if he is interacting to real persons. I saw the happiness in his face while he’s talking to a battery operated Santa Clause. They stayed for awhile to take some picture for his collection.

We were roaming around at the Ayala with baby in his stroller. My son enjoys himself with the ride in his stroller. He expresses himself through the smiles he gave to people who took notice of him. He looking around and glare at things which interest him. He seemed to be amazed with the surrounding, and just enjoy the different looks of people and things we came across with. He was so happy and he smiles every time turn around to see us. He had a great moment strolling.

If Mothers would have their daughters come to womanhood with healthful bodies and virtuous characters, they must in their own lives set the example, guarding them against the health-destroying fashions of this age. Christian mothers have resting upon them a responsibility which they do not realize. They should so train their children that they may have firm principle and moral health in this age of corruption.
