Since Christmas is coming, I already have prepared the things for Christmas. I tested the Christmas lights again last week I plugged them to the electricity to check how they work. It’s amazing, they still worked. Our multi color Christmas lights are 2 year old and they still worked.  So to make use of them, I temporarily put them in the ceiling of y kid’s room which serves as his night light.

The truck has also got to be prepared for the clearing and the climb day. The worst part after the fun is not the muscle pains but the cleaning. Cleaning time would be double or triple because most likely mud and dirt get stuck on the floor of the truck trunk. It was a good thing that on our next few climb we put in trunk liners. It really saves our time as cleaning the trunk liners is a lot easier than cleaning and drying the truck and trunk floor. Well, hassles after the climb doesn’t really matter much. The most important thing is that you enjoy life and enjoy the outdoors.

Indeed, my husband and I love traveling as much as we love adventure. We’ve planned that one day we will travel, adventure and enjoy Dubai Holidays. I told my husband that I wanted to experience the evening watching powerful Arab horses racing to the finish line. I would love to explore larger-than-life modern Dubai where the world’s tallest building, Burj Dubai is located. I would like to walk along the creek side with the ultramodern glass structure and charming old world Arab architecture of Wild Wadi that based at Jumeirah Beach. This is one of the world’s most technically-advanced water parks. I would like to enjoy all the fun it only time would permit. Last but not the least since we love adventure and love adrenalin rush we will make sure not to miss to experience camel riding, sand skiing, and 4×4 drive rush down the red sand dunes of Dubai.

There are a lot of things that makes me amazed and happy. But this is one of the things that I’ve been dreaming of my whole life.

Travelling is one of the best things that I love to do especially on holidays when we get to reunite with our family. The best thing to do when being with the family is to visit special places or to get a tour to places we have never been. It’s got to be lovely. It’s got to be fun and all. It’s just that one thing I hate when planning a travel is calling for reservations and checking out places to visit. In most case I end up waiting for the eleventh hour and eventually just jump to a travel and tour company and whenever money is not a problem, just go ahead and pay for the services without checking some other company for rate comparison.

The good thing now is that reservations can be done easily online. With web’s accessibility, reservation to New York hotels, Las Vegas hotels, Orlando hotels, or anywhere would be a no sweat.  You can even make reservations while on your way to your desired destination.

In contrast to the oppressive heat of the sweltering summer, this time the air is crisp and balmy. The weather is generally refreshing and invigorating. It is a pleasant experience to stroll down a country lane at night and view the harvest moon sometimes framed between coconut fronds as it sails serenely trough a cloudless tropical sky.

Christmas lanterns of various shapes and colors hang in the windows of some homes. Their soft glow seems to say that the light of peace and love and goodwill is also shining in the hearts of the people inside.

School is out for the long holidays, and the happy voices of the children at play are heard everywhere. Even their pet dogs seem to enjoy romping around with their young masters. Some parents take their children to the malls and, in spite of the tight money situation these day, they still come home with packages under their arms. These kids will perhaps wear new clothes and sport new shoes when they go to church.

 Instead of the usual jazz and rock ‘n roll, the atmosphere is filled with tunes reminiscent of happy childhood Christmasses of the past – “Silent Night,” “O little town of Bethlehem,” “Joy to the world,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and other homegrown variety. The carols – belted out of tune by street children with accompaniment of empty sardine cans – evoke nostalgic memories of halcyon days of yore.

We see the symbols of Christmas everywhere – the tinsel of gold and glitter of silver, the jingle bells and happy carols, the well-decorated Christmas trees with a star at the top, the red-nosed reindeer and jolly old Santa, the queso de bola and the other noche Buena goodies, the gift packages tied with ribbons of red and green, and so on. I really Love Christmas.

Christmas is coming, its days more to go. Can’t you feel the air of Christmas? The season of giving and sharing is here. My family doesn’t really find Christmas Celebration on December as a big celebration. Though we believe and celebrate with the rest we don’t really take December 25 as a big day. Why? Simply because we believe that Christmas is everyday.  But in tradition, we appreciate the spirit of Christmas that the world is celebrating on the month of December.  In fact, my sister-in-law gave a gift to our son. And this is the first gift that Zacharie has received from his Aunt. Well, I know there’s more to come…lol. J
