Dead Sea Mud Mask

When I hear of mud mask what really came into my mind is a gear that you use when you’re in a dirt bike or when you’re up for an off road challenge. Just recently my husband and I planned for a holiday adventure and adventurous as we beauty regiment is at times overlooked.

I come across with the word today when I search for Dead Sea. My brother had visit the place and told me his experience when they visit.  What I came across with is rather different; a product that captured my interest. I am aware that a lot of people bath in the Dead Sea for therapy but I never thought that Dead Sea mud extract can be used to treat or prevent skin impurities such as acne, pimples and blemishes.  Adovia has ingeniously made use of the wonders that the blessed Dead Sea has to offer and come up with Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask; a product made from a formula consist of mud extracted from the Dead Sea, Vitamin C and Aloe Vera, the mask works to extract oil and other fragments from the skin – leaving behind glowing, healthy skin. As the mask dries, it smoothly pulls out toxins and dirt that can contribute to block pores that can make the skin appear old.

There’s a lot more that the mud mask has to offer, better look for it now while it still can be found and enjoy the benefit of the wonders of the Dead Sea mud.

Stubborn Blackheads

Blackheads seem so difficult to get rid of. And if you don’t start to make a step to get rid of blackheads they might spread out. Sure you do not want to see these stubborn skin imperfections swell out on your nose, cheeks or all over your face.  Worst is that if you also have them not just on your face but also on chest and back too.

Last Tuesday, I notice that there is a bloody spot in the face of my husband. I ask him what happen with his face. He pricked his blackheads. He usually gets blackheads when he forgot to wash his face with facial wash soap. This usually happen every time he stays up so late. Perhaps that’s because sebaceous gland is more active when a person stays up late, and forgetting to wash oily face would cause dust and germs to accumulate in the pore and would result to blackheads.

Air Purifier

Technology is growing rapidly. Hundreds of cars are manufactured and sold everyday and so are cars owners. Additional factories are built almost everyday. Technology grows, and so is pollution.

I developed asthma when I was 21. That was when we were mountain climbing; we rested from a long ascending walk. We were all sweat and one of my co-climber threw me to the water falls. Since then I became very sensitive to dusts and dirty air. My husband is also the same. Humidity, dust and dirty air make him sick. He’s got what we call allergic chronitis. We need something to purify the air. We installed an air-conditioner in our room. Well air-conditioner was a great help in keeping cool air, somehow it’s able to filter some dust, but we don’t think it’s the appropriate machine to purify the air. My sister-in-law suggested that we use an air cleaner as it will surely help especially that we have an infant in our room.

We went around the mall and check every appliance center.  IQAir HealthPro Compact Plus Air Purifier seem to fit what we need so we haste to procure it. Since then we seldom get sick. If ever we may it is caused by air that we get to inhale outside our home.

Be Blemish Free

All skin types can obtain blackheads, whiteheads and red swollen bumps. Oil-producing sebaceous glands that lie just underneath the face of the skin are the cause of most bad skin. Excess hormone can trigger these glands to produce too much sebum. And if the hair follicle gets blocked by dry skin cells, oil builds up with nowhere to go.

This build-up of oil crafts a perfect environment, in which acne bacteria can replicate, triggering a chemical response and the development of a skin condition. We have plenty of sebaceous glands in our face, chest, neck, and back – which is why blemishes are most commonly found in these regions.

A thorough daily skincare regime is one of the numerous ways in keeping a blemish free and perfect skin. It is often adequate to keep black and whiteheads at bay. In doing so, you have to cleanse, tone and moisturize day and night, using gentle products that won’t strip or aggravate the skin. Opt for oil-free water-based products when choosing cosmetics and cleansers. Those that include alcohol are best avoided because alcohol can be incredibly drying, even for oily skin. You may want an oil-control cleanser to take away excess oil from the skin’s surface.

Rejuvinated Skin

Healthy skin can add self-confidence in every way. In most cases, we women for some reasons would as much as possible preserve our beauty even when we get older. For some, the reason why they keep and enhance beauty is career. When you look good and feel good, you’d be better at work and most likely you’d be able to keep or get better career. Career is one of the most important things that women couldn’t afford to lose nowadays, as it adds confidence and boosts our esteem. Another is that women would like to be appreciated always. We wanted to hear an appreciation from a friend or someone saying that we look young or as if we did not aged. Those are just some of the few reasons why human wants to be beautiful.

It relation to that, many of us use food supplements or anti aging products to revive a young and fresh skin. Other uses natural remedies such as having a fruit diet or directly applying some fruit juice to the skin to rejuvenate a fresh looking younger skin.

Rare Condition

I first heard the word herpes when I was in High school. That was when we were discussing about sexually transmitted disease. All this time I thought herpes can only be acquired through sexual intercourse and some other sexual activity. Accordingly, transmission of herpes simplex may also occur through skin-to-skin contact during periods of asymptomatic shedding.  Herpes simplex is hardly ever of any medical importance – some people are relatively ill when they catch it but so are some people who catch flu.

Sink That Last

One of my favorite places in the house is the kitchen. Kitchen is perhaps the most wanted area inside the house; it is where the family and our visitor spend most of the time, simply because it’s where the food is. Having said that it is the most visited place in the house, as the owner, we should make it a point that our kitchen is clean, bacterial free and presentable. Kitchen sanitation is a must.

Speaking of sanitation, one important item in the kitchen that I think we should prioritize is the sink.  The sink is where the fluids or liquid waste is drained. Getting an easy to clean and durable sink does not have to be expensive. Mr. Direct Int. a business bureau accredited features the most affordable and durable sink. Their Stainless steel undermount kitchen sink has been the most prevalent choice for today’s kitchens due to its clean look and sturdiness. Other than that, their undermount kitchen sinks has the most presentable, stylish yet elegant designs. With such a product your family and visitors would not only be enticed with the food but also with the sanitation and beauty of your kitchen.

Facial Care 101 “Blackheads”

Back when I was in college I get to notice a classmate who used to face the mirror every break time. Not to retouch but to prick her blackheads.  Pricking leaves holes and red and black marks on her face. She’s pretty however she has a lot of pimples and blackheads which lowers her confidence. We advised her to use some blackheads strips which actually did not help much. She still pricks some stubborn deeply rooted blackheads. We give her tips on how to get rid of blackheads and I believe she took them because weeks after we noticed that her face was lighter and little by little the red and black marks diminished from her face.
A Blackhead is an impurity which is a little lower than a pimple. They are tiny, dark spots caused by a small plug in the opening of a pore on the skin. However, we should be alarmed as blackhead is a type of acne vulgaris. The main culprit of this condition is the excess production of an oily substance called sebum whose role is to keep skin and hair lubricated and supple.  Excess oil mixed with makeup can facilitate the multiplication of the bacterium propionibacterium acnes, the principal anaerobe of the normal skin.
Blackheads and other form of mild acne can be self-treated with over-the-counter creams typically with benzoyl peroxide. There are also a variety of different medications that your family doctor might recommend that come as creams, ointments, and pills. It is clever to start by applying the cream or ointment at night to see how it reacts, and then if needed you can do so twice a day. Some of the stronger medications for acne are not to be used if you are pregnant. Most acne treatments work by dropping the next “crop” of acne, so don’t get depressed if the medication does not work immediately. The best way to avoid blackheads and other impurities is by constantly washing face and by constantly removing excess oil from your face.

Facial Care 101 “Acne”

Acne and rosacea may look alike however they are definitely different. I can say that rosacea is a little bit severe than acne. Acne is a disorder of the pilosebaceous unit, which is made up of a hair follicle, sebaceous gland, and a hair. Pilosebaceous units is greatest on the face, upper neck, and chest that is why acne mostly grow on those area. It is said that one factor for acne is the rising hormone level during puberty. Evidently, acne is caused by bacteria, known as Propionibacterium acnes, which is a normal inhabitant of the skin.

As mentioned above, one factor for acne is the rising hormonal level. Changing hormone levels in girls and women may cause a flare in their acne days before the start of their menstrual period. Hormonal changes associated to pregnancy or starting or stopping birth control pills can also cause acne. Though is also believed that birth control pills cures acne. Stress, mainly severe or lingering emotional strain, may worsen the disorder.

Several cure for different kind of acne has been established. Researchers have come up with best acne cream that really works. These creams have Acne Fighting Power, provide fast and long lasting results, and with the guarantee that it’s totally safe. In fact as I go through research I found out that these acne creams are also used as treatment for other worst skin impurity such as rosacea. If such cream serves as a remedy for worst skin illness, then I can truly say that such cream is the best acne cream.

Facial Care 101

Do you have redness on your cheeks and nose or have red sore pimples and small pus-filled bumps that just won’t go away? Does sun exposure cause redness on your face that lasts for days? If you do then you should be alarmed. It may not be just a simple allergy or acne. That could be “Rosacea.”

Rosacea is a skin condition worst than acne. It is not as common as acne since this condition typically affect adults, especially those between 30 and 50 years of age who have lighter skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. Rosacea is a chronic skin illness that causes redness and swelling, mostly on the face. Other areas that can be affected are the scalp, neck, ears, chest and back. Sometimes, rosacea affects the eyes.

The root of this skin impurity is your stratum corneum, the layer of skin you see when you face the mirror. People with rosacea have a delicate stratum corneum, so skin is easily irritated. Gentle skin care can help diminish irritation and calm the skin. Since its symptoms are more like acne, rosacea is often incorrectly referred to as “adult acne.”

If you have rosacea, treatment and lifestyle changes are important. Here are a few tips from dermatologists that may help you reduce rosacea outbreak:

  • Stress can cause rosacea to flare. Stress reduction and avoidance techniques can help stop flare-ups.
  • Keep a trigger journal. If you eat or drink something that causes a flare-up, record the experience, so you know what to avoid.
  • The sun causes many people to have a rosacea flare. Guard your face from the sun. And be sure to shield your eyes by wearing sunglasses that screen your eyes from both UVA and UVB rays.

Rosacea can lower one’s self-confidence and self-esteem so it it should be treated as soon as possible. Rosacea treatment has been discovered you may be able to find one when searching the internet. However, my advice for anyone who thinks that he or she may have rosacea is to see a dermatologist as soon as possible. Early diagnosis and treatment can control the signs and symptoms of rosacea so that rosacea is usually not visible or uncomfortable. Early treatment also may stop rosacea from making progress.
