Monitoring babies’ weight is important in determining babies’ health. That is why it is widely implemented that this clinical practice of weighing babies should be administered adequately to monitor babies’ physical well being. My friend who’s a pediatrician once told me that if measurements of weight are accurate and the counts of weight gain are plotted appropriately, the resulting profile can be sensibly interpreted and becomes a valuable method of monitoring health. Possibly the greatest benefit is that the mothers have the opportunity to discuss any anxieties about the baby’s health.

As a mother I concerned myself about my baby’s health. Every month I bring my baby to his pediatrician for regular check up. I get to monitor his weight as he grows since we have him weighed in scales every time we come for check up. I especially like the digital baby scale that the pediatrician use most of the time. I just find it so accurate. Now that my baby has grown into a toddler, we don’t visit the doctor as often as before. I thought of checking the store for scales so that I would be able to weigh my son even at home. I thought of asking my brother in law a copy of weigh chart to monitor my precious one’s health.

Much people say that taking supplements before conceiving will help in the prevention of many birth defects. Others say you can get profitable effects by continuing to take them after you have had your baby and during the time you are breastfeeding. Well, you should consult your doctor for more information on what is best for your particular case. They will even give you different samples to find the one that is best for you.

In my case while I’m conceiving my first baby I had my regular check up with my doctor just to make sure that the baby would be healthy while he is inside my womb and to prevent any complication. To keep my health I also took supplementary vitamins my doctor prescribed.

Finding the right vitamin may take a little trial and error, but the benefits are great. Just continue to keep in mind that you still need to maintain a healthy diet. The benefits of prenatal vitamins are enormous and highly recommended, but good nutrition is still better than any supplement.

After a long weekend of sleepless nights my son has completely recovered from his cough and colds today. He has good sleep and he has no clog nose any longer. He has had a good repose. Now I can concentrate in updating my blog. No worry at all. Now, he can play and smile again and is back in a good mood. We are still continuing his medication though. We have still few days left to finish his medication. He hasn’t taken a bath yet. Maybe tomorrow he can take his bath when his colds and cough has completely cured.

Babies at age of seven months start to distinguish the real form unreal. It is at this age that they appreciate the things around them like colors and size. They recognize sounds and movements and recognize where it came from. They get easily attracted especially to colorful things. With all that we may need to guide them so they would be aware of those things. Kids at this age are very curious so we better keep an eye on them to keep them away from harms.

You're not real!" title="Zach and Santa Clause" />

The previous day we were at Ayala mall to get his last immunization shots for HIB as well as his monthly check-up and while we are busy at our window shopping, we noticed that our little boy was attracted at something and he kept on turning his head looking for that something that may have amused him. We found out that he is eyeing on a red mascot. He was focusing his sight on a big battery operated Santa Clause. He may have wondered if the moving thing is real or fancy. So my husbands immediately took him and bought him near the moving thing. As soon as they get closer, our little boy smiled and his father tried to make him interact with the machine. His eyes were glaring and he switches looks from Santa Clause to his father as if he is comparing what he is seeing trying to find if he is interacting to real persons. I saw the happiness in his face while he’s talking to a battery operated Santa Clause. They stayed for awhile to take some picture for his collection.

We took our baby to the doctor for his last HIB immunization. We have to go to his Pediatrician for his immunization as well for his monthly check-up. When the doctor starts to check him, he cried, perhaps he already had associated the doctor to pain. I and my husband take turns to calm him but he still kept on crying. He doesn’t want to be laid down on the bed perhaps he already knew that pain will come next once he is laid down. He cried and cried until his doctor finished checking and injecting him with the vaccine.
