Oats Waffle

Place in blender, three (3) cups of water. Add two (2) cups of old fashioned oats loaded with great soluble fiber. Now, microwave ¼ cup high lysine yellow cornmeal in ½ cup of water. Add  to mixture in the blender. Add ¼ cup nuts. Add ¼ cup soy powder. Add ½ teaspoon salt – to bring out the whole grain flavor. Blend these ingredients until smooth and let them set for 3 to 4 minutes.

Pour batter onto a hot waffle iron. You may need to add a little more water to the batter so that it pours out easily – but not too easily. Sprinkle the top of the waffle with ground flaxseed or pumpkin seeds, high in omega 3 fatty acids. Bake for ten to twelve minutes or until the waffle is light golden brown and crisp. When the batter is of proper consistency the waffle will be as light and crisp as a vanilla wafer.

Once baked, spread with mono rich peanut or almond butter, and then sprinkle with rich maple syrup or honey, top with your choice of rainbow rich toppings, such as deep blueberries, ruby-red raspberries or strawberries, emerald green kiwi fruit or opal rich mangoes, papayas, peaches, or apricots. Serve with a cold glass of lowfat dairy milk.

Guitar Strings

One thing that my husband admires most about the company which he is connected is the Fun at work. The company helps them develop or enhance their talent and that is awesome. As a result they always lead the industry.

So at work they establish different groups, clubs or teams; Photography club, Pet Club, Outdoor club, Sports Teams such as Basket ball, football, tennis, chess, and even musical bands for every account. My husband’s previous team was mostly composed musicians and so most of them are members of rock bands. They exchanged gifts last Christmas and what turned out funny was that most of them gifted guitar strings to each other, not same brands and numbers though, some were expensive, and some were just ordinary strings. Abigail just got lucky because she got what she really wished for; an Ernie Ball Cobalt Strings, man that was kind of expensive but she got what she longed to have. She’s lucky since the boss picked her in the draw lots. With Abby’s guitar skills and her Ernie ball strings, Abby Rocks!

Mexican Foods in Cart

My husband and his closest colleagues have thought of jumping into a new line of business. These guys have something in common; they all love to eat and in as much as possible they satisfy their palette. So when they have much time they always head for a fine dining and come home with satisfied appetite. So it’s either that or they get Wayne; one of the guy in the group cook their food who’s a chief and a culinary expert himself.

Wayne having been to mostly Latino, and Hispanic country is so much familiar with Mexican foods, in fact it’s Wayne’s forte. When in Texas he never misses to dine at his favorite Mexican restaurant frisco or order gourmet at Republic of Texas. Before coming home to the Philippines he always shops at Republic of Texas Company Store to get us some presents. These guys turned restless when Jay conceptualized the idea of starting a mobile fast food which he called as “Food Cart.” Everybody was so excited that they run feasibility studies right away. They then decided that they would introduce Mexican foods along with the easily cooked Filipino and Oriental foods on it. The idea is to cater the rushing, in a hurry to work people in the morning till noon with delicious, nutritious delights such as Burritos, Tacos, Enchiladas, Taquitos, Empanadas and the like. These foods are easily prepared that a customer would be able to checkout in two to three minutes since they are microwavable.

While serving rushing people in the daylight they will also find the opportunity of inviting them to try our fine dining in the evening at Wayne’s very own Kitchenette. They’ve got Wayne’s place renovated for the awaited launch. They will be shopping more at Republic of Texas Company Store for more authentic Mexican seasonings and ingredients.

Friend’s Favorite Cigar

I easily get along with guy friends when I was in college, perhaps because I have more brothers than sisters. I’ve got more guy friends than girls. Men smoke more than women. Well, I have not joined my guy friends in their vices, I didn’t smoke nor drink alcoholic beverages but I get along with them and learn a lot from them too.

Davidoff cigars and cigarettes have been here for quite a time. Perhaps it’s the first imported cigar and cigarette brand that I’ve heard and learned of from my friends. They prefer to call it blue seal. When a family or a friend would come home from United States to the Philippines, my friends would usually call and would request to take home packs of Davidoff cigars and cigarettes. Now that import-export trade is supported in the country I get to see a lot of imported cigars and much Davidoff cigars and cigarettes in the bars and malls. I am reminded of my guy friends every time I see my friend’s favorite cigar.

Roof Rack on APV

Our plan of buying the house where we reside last year was canceled due to disagreement that we had we the owner. Anyhow, I believe that all things work together for good. So we just have moved to an apartment and the money that is supposed to be for the house is saved and may go to a different project. My husband has been looking for an All Purpose Vehicle APV that is not so big but could be used in a business and as a family car. He wished we had it when we moved as it’s real expensive to hire a mover as price is fixed even though this place that we moved in is just 4 kilometers away. The APV could have been a big help in trucking things out.

Whispbar HD Bar Rack

So he found what he thought as the perfect APV that he is looking for; it’s not brand new just slightly used and is originally owned by his colleague. It’s right for the money. He checks it and he knew right then that he need a whispbar roof rack to outfit the car and get it ready for the side business that we have in mind. A roof rack is very much instrumental for bigger or excess things that may not fit inside the vehicle. This roof rack is the foremost accessory that we are going to get as soon as we acquire the car.

Zach’s 3rd Bday

It’s amazing how years go fast. It seems like yesterday when we celebrated my son’s 1st birthday and now it’s his birthday again; his 3rd birthday.

We do not throw out a big birthday bash except during my son’s 1st birthday.  Today, his 3rd and just like his 2nd birthday there’s just few of us; my brother-in-law, my husband, me, our 4 months old daughter Zuriel and of course our birthday boy Zach.

When I scanned our camera to delete some pictures and free some memory space for today’s celebration, I ran across my son’s 2nd birthday pictures. Sweet! 2nd and 3rd birthday pictures  are going to be saved in the camera, could have been a lot sweeter if the person who borrowed the camera before was careful with the menus and did not accidentally format the SD card, we could have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthday picture all together.

We had a little salo-salo at home and it was fun.  Upon retiring to bed I review the pictures with my son. He laughs at his pictures until he fell asleep.

I wish to eat all these chocolates

Zach staring at the lit birthday candle and about to blow

Yum Yum Yum... Chocolates!!!

Birthday boy eats chocolate.

Beauty Before Your Lens

My addiction to photography started when my boyfriend then (now my husband) came home from Korea with a digital camera. He taught me how to take good pictures and how to project when taken pictures.

I am not a very good looking person and as a matter of fact I never heard my dad call me pretty or beautiful. On our way home to the province to prepare for our wedding, my then fiancé took pictures of me. It was because of that digital camera and those pictures that I heard my dad for the first time appreciate my beauty, I almost cried.  Until now I keep that picture which makes dad appreciate my beauty much.

I had been dying to get even just and entry level DSLR. I’m sure I would be able to take more beautiful picture with that. Digital cameras help me appreciate every single tiny detail of subject in the photograph. It helps me look for and see the rareness of the subject before my lens. It makes me appreciate God more and the beauty and uniqueness of His creation.

Restore Bad Credit

Have you been drowned in excessive debt? I can’t imagine the horror I felt inside when I realized that I was in financial trouble.  I summed up my balances on different credit cards and I was terrified. It almost squared my annual income, it was horrible.

A year after in-spite of the fact that we pay twice more that the monthly minimum bill each month, we seem to have not move an inch. It was frustrating. We start missing some bills after I give birth. Priorities are here and since then the more we were in debt.  We almost cry but tears could not resolve our problem so we hold it back. My husband and I seek counsel, searched the internet for resolutions and we found a lot of suggestions.

RMCN Credit Services has been a great resource to us. Little by little we learned about the program. We were a little anxious when we started but even though we just have started I sense that we are on the correct path and eventually things will turn out right. Even now I can definitely say that RMCN has helped us restore bad credit and has educated us on how we are to improve our credit scores.
